Class Exercise D
Monday, February 14, 2011
Photographs taken with phone camera during lecture:

1) Low angle shot of the ceiling
This makes the lights look grand and impressive, even though it's just a normal LT ceiling.

2) Low angle shot of a person
Although she is just making the innocent action of lifting her bag to her shoulder, the low angle shot makes her look threatening, as if she is going to use the bag to hit someone.

3) High angle shot
The people at the front of the LT look small and somewhat insignificant due to the high angle. Instead, the girl in light blue higher up among the seats tends to stand out.

4) Dutch angle
The tilted angle makes the LT seem somewhat distorted, an illusion further enhanced by the curving of the seats.
